What data we collect
To register a booking: your first and last name, phone number, email address (if you enter one), pick-up and drop-off date and time, and the pick-up location — and if you choose hotel delivery or an address of your choice, that address too. We do not collect any card details, because payment is made when you pick up the car and there is no online payment on this site. Visit data and the traffic source (including advertising campaign identifiers such as gclid and utm parameters) are also recorded to measure advertising performance.
Why it is used and who it is shared with
This data is used only to register and fulfill your booking, arrange the car handover and provide support. Your data is not sold or handed to any advertiser, but to provide the service itself it is necessarily processed with these parties: the Palm Rent group booking system where the booking is recorded, the email delivery service for confirmation messages, and the local branch in the destination city that hands over the car.
Travel documents
You can upload photos of your passport and driver's license — and your flight ticket when the pick-up or drop-off is at an airport — from the booking status page, or send them on WhatsApp. The photos are transferred over an encrypted connection and used only to verify the rental requirements, prepare the handover and coordinate the timing. The site never displays a link to these photos, and only authorized operations staff and the local branch concerned can view them. Uploading is optional and does not affect your booking confirmation. The photos are deleted at your request on WhatsApp, subject to what financial and legal regulations require.
Cookies
We use cookies and the Google Analytics and Google Ads services to measure site and campaign performance. You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work correctly.
Deleting your data
To have your data deleted, simply message us on WhatsApp. Note that records of completed bookings are kept for as long as financial and accounting regulations require and cannot be deleted.
